What happens when we do the thing on our hearts to do? What happens when you take all the skill youāve acquired and add faith and take a leap? What comes next?
Do we become paralyzed by the fears of all the unknown? Become despondent about all the perceived work we think we must do. Or what comes to mind, that makes you stop in your tracks?
Just like a woman having a baby, no one can have this baby but her. No one can grow, cultivate, nourish, and birth this child but her. She may have a community of support, skilled doctors, and a whole host of other things to make her journey more comfortable- but there is still a whole world of experience that only she will endure.
Thatās the sauce, knowing that some aspects of your existence are solely yours to experience. There is a benefit there, and an intimacy and trust that you ignite within yourself. Thereās much power in knowing deep within, āI can successfully do hard thingsā. Additionally, your dependence on Self leads you to depend on God within. You start to deepen your relationship with your own Divine Essence, it is cultivated through personal lived experience.
Fickle things begin to fall away, like the āshouldsā of organized religion and you begin to know God in a way that words cannot fully describe. In a way that others cannot articulate. You know God as your sustenance and the power of your being. You move from a belief in God, to knowing God. Knowing comes from confidence, and confidence comes from experience.
So in this regard, that uncomfortable experience that you have had to endure, maybe the blessing is that it creates an opportunity for you to build confidence in yourself and your Creator. Thus making any subsequent āhard thingā more surmountable because you have a history of accomplishing āhard thingsā.
I hope that you not only know life as the Created but also the Creator. Do things that scare you and require new levels of faith, for in it, you will see the move of God.
Some parts of life are reserved only for you, know deep in your heart it is always well with you. There is great reward in doing such things, things not only material but also ethereal and soul-enriching.
